looking for information on the Internet and found a lot of people put forward the problem, but the solution seems to be very few, I finally see information is said need Crystal Reports merge modules, I was confused look, what is merge modules, check the information, MSDN is described, the merge module is to ensure the report with the application 1 installation components and the correctness of the version, The Crystal Reports merge module must be included in the installation project to deploy the report. These merge modules are located in the following default location: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Merge Modules.

From http: / / www. businessobjects. com products/dev_zone net / 2005. asp/download for Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2005 merge module.

Computer type Project type The required merge module 32 - Windows applications/websites CrystalReportsRedist2005_X86.msm x64 Windows application/website CrystalReportsRedist2005_X64.msm IA64 Windows application/website CrystalReportsRedist2005_IA64.msm

at that time I was depressed, because I had installed CrystalReportsRedist2005_X86.msm of this module, but I still reported this error, then I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, the problem was solved. It seems to me that when I installed this module for the first time, I made an error. I chose to ignore this error, which may be why I failed to install it successfully, so I made an error.

I hope my experience helped. thank you
