Method description:

Delete file operation.

Grammar:

fs.unlink(path, [callback(err)])

Since this method belongs to the fs module, the fs module (var fs= require(" fs ")) needs to be introduced before use.

Receiving parameters:

Path                    The file path

Callback        Callback, passing an exception parameter err.

Example:

var fs = require('fs');
var filepath = '126.txt';
fs.unlink(filepath, function(err){
 if(err){
  throw err;
 }
 console.log(' file :'+filepath+' Delete successfully! ');
})

Source:

fs.unlink = function(path, callback) {
  callback = makeCallback(callback);
  if (!nullCheck(path, callback)) return;
  binding.unlink(pathModule._makeLong(path), callback);
};
