An example of the difference between interval and setTimeOut in javascript


SetTimeout (code,millisec) //- execute code after specified time

Code must be;

Millisec must;

ClearTimeout (setTimeoutId) //- cancel setTimeout()

SetInterval (code, millisec); // specifies that code is cycled in milliseconds

Code must be;

Millisec must;

ClearInterval (intervalId);

SetTimeout (code,millisec) can be used to achieve setInterval effect.
