How to configure docker official source and install docker with yum

1. Official installation documentation of docker:

https://docs.docker.com/engine/installation/linux/centos/

The documentation given by docker shows that it only configures 1 docker yum source and installs docker from this source. In this document we use manual configuration

The way of

2. Configure one docker source:

4. Download rpm package directly to install:

1. When I installed docker, I found that the download speed was only 3kB/s, while the file size was 19M; Just when I felt like there was no hope to install it, I wisely thought of downloading rpm

Saw the docker repo, found a source address is https centos7: / / download docker. com/linux/centos / / $7 basearch/stable so I want to go

https://download.docker.com/linux/centos/7/x86_64/stable/Packages/

Just download the rpm package with Thunderbolt (I am a member with speedup)

Download the following file:

docker-ce-17.03.0.ce-1.el7.centos.x86_64.rpm
docker-ce-selinux-17.03.0.ce-1.el7.centos.noarch.rpm

5. Install docker:

Hello from Docker!
This message shows that your installation appears to be working correctly.

To generate this message, Docker took the following steps:
 1. The Docker client contacted the Docker daemon.
 2. The Docker daemon pulled the "hello-world" image from the Docker Hub.
 3. The Docker daemon created a new container from that image which runs the
executable that produces the output you are currently reading.
 4. The Docker daemon streamed that output to the Docker client, which sent it
  to your terminal.

To try something more ambitious, you can run an Ubuntu container with:
$ docker run -it ubuntu bash
